Jenny McPhee is a novelist and translator of works by Natalia Ginzburg, Primo Levi, Anna Maria Ortese, and Pope John Paul II, among others. She teaches at NYU's School of Professional Studies where she is the Academic Director of Noncredit Programs at the Center for Applied Liberal Arts. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2020. She is a founding board member of the public school The Bronx Academy of Letters.
